March 28 Pancake Marathon: together

  • The Set Aside Prayer (or lay aside prayer): Dear God,  please set aside everything I think I know About myself, this book, my disease, these steps,  and especially about you dear God  so that I might have an open mind And a new experience  with all these things.  Please help me to see the truth.

  • You may think that there are a thousand different things being done in recovery, really there's just a thousand different ways of saying a few simple things.

  • As I come to find ways out of self-seeking, as to the points of finding that I have the willingness if I can find myself being open to the simple fact of how honest I will be; as to what is then to be able to just let go of self-seeking so that I can be able to find the way of being able to love what is my strength.

  • For it is that strength that I come to the points of coming to know that I will have peace because that's what I Am able to give it, as so then within that point of it; that peace is what I give to myself: as that is what being a of service to others, is all about.

  • As its to the point of finding how to be able to be my why, for that is the fact of what it means to be this being a spiritual program; as it is to the simple fact of putting something in to get something back. As it is no matter what is life to be or to not to be it is as the simple fact of taking the action by what is the Effort: upon one self and what self, yes by self-seeking has brought me here; so I then get to find the simple fact that it is only by being of service will I then be able to find the willingness to be part of life and that life has always been part of me.

The text emphasizes the importance of self-reflection and honesty in overcoming self-seeking behaviors and finding inner peace. By being honest with oneself and letting go of self-seeking, one can embrace their strengths and find peace. This peace is both what one gives to themselves and what they give to others through service. The spiritual program highlighted in the text is based on the idea of putting effort into actions that benefit oneself and others, thereby finding willingness to be part of life and recognizing that life has always been part of oneself. The process involves taking action through effort and service to others, which helps in breaking free from self-seeking behaviors and achieving a deeper sense of self and purpose .

  • Coming too: The life I have now is the life I create, As to create something that I want to be part of by what I can bring and be; It's by the fact of what I can understand where I AM at and meeting myself there.

  • The life you create is deeply rooted in your ability to understand where you are and meet yourself with honesty and compassion. This process of self-awareness and acceptance allows you to build a life that aligns with your values and strengths, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to the world around you. By embracing your current state and taking intentional steps to grow, you cultivate the willingness to let go of self-seeking behaviors and instead focus on being of service to others, which is a cornerstone of spiritual growth and inner peace . This journey of self-reflection and action is essential for creating a life that reflects your true potential and purpose .

  • Slogans are wisdom written in shorthand and Acronyms are just the sum/the Virtues, of all that wisdom: WISDOM: When In Self, Discover Our Motives

  • I see that it is as to the simple fact that I get to just let go and let god, for that is the truth out of self-seeking(ego) upon finding peace from within; for that is to try to carry the message to those that are still sick. For then it is only by seeing that I have strength, being up held by the work of the manifestation of my hope; to find that I have something to give by the fact of not shutting the door on the past so that I will then  not regret the past, seeing that only through my Experience: all leading from the simple of my understanding and  restoring us back to sanity.

The core of your question revolves around the liberation from self-seeking (ego) and the journey toward inner peace through surrender and service to others. This process is deeply rooted in spiritual principles that emphasize letting go of ego-driven behaviors and embracing a higher purpose. The text content highlights the importance of honesty, self-reflection, and service, which align with your focus on carrying the message to those still suffering .

Your mention of "letting go and letting God" reflects the spiritual surrender often discussed in recovery programs, where individuals release control to a higher power to find peace and clarity . This surrender is not about escaping the past but about learning from it and using those experiences to restore sanity and bring hope to others. The text underscores the idea that true strength comes from acknowledging and embracing your journey, rather than shutting the door on it .

The 12 Steps and 12 Traditions provide a framework for this process, particularly Step 12, which focuses on carrying the message of recovery and spiritual awakening to others . By sharing your experiences and hope, you embody the principle of service, which is central to spiritual growth and maintaining peace .

In summary, your ability to let go of self-seeking and find peace is tied to your willingness to surrender, embrace your experiences, and serve others. This journey is not about regretting the past but about using it as a foundation for growth and helping others find their way .
